You have noticed that I mentioned in the title that Beth is "brave".. let me tell you that we shot these pics on a day when it was 29 (okay it was in the 30's but the weather channel says "feels like 29" so thats all that matters). While I was rocking my down jacket, boots, scarf, industrial strength socks - Beth was the picture of grace in her strapless gown and strappy shoes.. BRAVE I tell ya!!

We kept this session a bit shorter as not to induce frost bite or pneumonia for that matter but Beth was a trooper and made it look like it was a balmy 75 degree day with not a care in the world. :D

Hard to mess up pics up a girl this beautiful and this sweet. It's a shame she doesn't realize how pretty she is! Everyone be bold and leave a comment telling Monique how gorgeous she is! K? Thanks!

I am not entirely sure what sweet nothings Joe was whispering to Misty during our shoot but it didn't matter - he kept her giggling the whole way thru.. so when I was sorting through there photos it was hard not to smile because the joy these two share totally comes across in their pics. :)

You may recognize adorable little Sophia from some portraits I did of her a few months ago. Hard to forget that much cuteness right? Well she just turned 1! Happy Birthday Sophia! So we headed out with her and her equally adorable parents to take some photos. We decided to keep this shoot indoors due to very chilly weather and Sophia just getting over being sick :( So the Houston Butterfly Centre was the destination of choice. Other photogs looking for an indoor locale - the Butterfly Center has tons of natural light and is protected from Houstons crazy weather.

I am sorry I have been a drag blogger as of late. I really don't like that at all. It's got to change. Unfortunately, this post isn't going to help my journey towards ultra creative blogism whatsoever. At least I warned you right?

To Wade and Kristin - thanks for a great shoot! A extra BIG thanks for venturing out into the mosquito infested, off-limits field for a few cute shots. I'll be posting some extra teasers via our facebook page in the next few days so keep an eye out for those! :)

So I went on blog update overload and left this precious couple out! Boo me! :( But yay for seeing them now!! I don't have to point out that Tim and Carolyn are both lookers or that they carry themselves with class and dignity because you can see it by just looking at them. What you might not know is that these 2 know how to have a little fun and so do their incredible group of friends. Some weddings you can just feel the joy and history that couples share with their guests and Tim and Carolyn's wedding definitely falls into this category.

*if you are looking for a videographer, DO hire Reel Memories! Beau and Kelly are a hip, young husband and wife team (that sounds familiar ;)) Check them out!

*DO feel free to have some photographic creative license. I think we are the bees knees photographers but we are not so full of ourselves that we don't respect some creative love from you! Tim had the idea to do the pic with him with the married men waving goodbye to all the single guys.. and you know what? I think its adorable! :)

*speaking of Tim - he really seems like a reserved guy for the most part but man if Vanilla Ice starts up you get a whole new Tim.. if you want to cut loose and dance and sing to YOUR let loose song - DO it!

*ladies, if I ask you to conjure up your inner Tyra - please, please DO it! Look how hot these ladies look!

*a make your own pasta buffet?? Uh yah! DO this.

*The bridesmaids got to pick their own LBD but all wore the same sexy silver stillettos - DO it! Your bridemaids will love you for this, your guests get a little fashion show and everyone gets tied together by a hot pair of shoes.

*If you're looking for a classy and fashionable reception venue, you may want to check out Magnolia Hotel.

We headed downtown to Main St. to shoot this little clan.. I have to say upon meeting Lennon I was a tish bit worried.. I mean here's this GIANT dog.. whatever are we going to do with him?? My fears quickly dissipated when I got to know what a precious sweety pie Lennon is! Best dog ever! He is well behaved and a total cuddler- as you can see in some of the photos. It helps that Joe and India are two of the sweetest people you'll ever meet.. all 3 of them have lovely infectious personalities - left this shoot with a big smile on my face! (not to mention the taste of Blue Moon in my mouth... thank you guys for reccomending The Flying Saucer!)

There are lots of "ingredients" - if you will - that combine to make for rad photos. Of course there's us - your photographers.. if we are not yet your photographers, we should be.. and then there's great lighting, cool texture, pretty colors and of COURSE fab subjects.. people who love each other or even better, LIKE each other. When you have the right combo (errm remember it starts with hiring us ;)) you end up something really beautiful.. I think we definitely had the right combo on Erik and Beth's shoot.

Both Kris and Rebecca seem like people of few words.. but their love for each other is sweet and a joy to watch...

DO don a gown with pockets! POCKETS!! I really love pockets.. and I love wedding dresses.. so a wedding dress with pockets?? *GASP Love it!

*If your venue gets flooded not only have a back up but roll with the punches with grace- DO this.

*Steak for dinner- it's DO. Who doesn't like steak? Okay, correction- who in Texas doesn't like steak really? ;)

*Of course it must be said - DO, DO ,DO hire a fantabulous, fun, and super fly photographer- that would be us!! (Miabella.. in case you forgot where you were for a sec ;))

It's update blog monday! YAY! During busy season we don't always get to post a teaser from every event on our blog.. and sometimes events get posted on Facebook (yup we're on there.. if you're not a fan, you should be! So get to it!) Anywho.. Christina asked when their event would get blogged.. aww.. I think they felt left out of the loop which is a shame because they are such a fantastic couple!
